Workforce Development Position for CM Active

Do you want to be part of a great community based activity programme in Manurewa?

Counties Manukau Active (CM Active) have launched a Programme to help get more people more active in the communities of Franklin, Mangere, Manurewa, Otara and Papakura.

cmsport currently have a position available for a Workforce Development Administrator. The role will be to:
-    To ensure quality training courses are delivered
-    To increase community leaders in Counties Manukau
-    To ensure community leaders are supported to deliver programmes in their community

The aim of the project is to support course providers and CM Active Physical Activity Leaders who select , train and mentor community leaders to deliver new initiatives in Mangere, Otara, Manurewa, Papakura and Franklin.

This position is managed by the CM Active Project Manager.  The partners in this project include SPARC, Counties Manukau District Health Board, Otara Health, Franklin District Council, Papakura District Council , ProCare, Manukau City Council and Counties Manukau Sport.

The applicant applying for this position will develop and implement the Workforce development work plan.

If you have an understanding of ‘Healthy Lifestyle’, Sport, Physical activity; experience in administering training programmes and an understanding to support and encourage community leaders,  then this may just be the job for you.
