Active Movement

Active Movement is important for the healthy development of a child's brain - young children learn from movement and being physically active.

Active Movement also discourages health problems such as diabetes and obesity, and helps build tomorrow's athletes.

Counties Manukau Sport wholeheartedly believes Active Movement is just as important for newborns as it is for older children. By helping your child to get active, you help their body to develop, you help them to learn and to feel safe, and you show them they are loved.

To stay up to date with Active Movement in Counties Manukau be sure to check the news and events page frequently.

Series 2 of the Active Movement DVD is now available. If you would like to order one, feel free to contact Gayleen on 09 269 0179 or e-mail gayleen.carson@cmsport.co.nz.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Auckland Airport Community Trust for their contribution to
