Community Leaders Training

CM Active is on the look out for energetic people to lead in the delivery of physical activity, sport or recreation programmes. CM Active offers training for anyone from the CM Active hub areas who are over 16 years of age to help them get start up activities going or energise existing activities.

The aim is to get people moving at the grass roots level.  Each new leader will be mentored and supported by a member of the CM Active team.

Community Leaders Group Exercise Trainers Course

Date:    
Wednesday 16 May, 2012
Time:     from 6pm - 8pm
Venue:  Mangere Combined Tennis Club, House Park, Kirkbride Ave, Mangere
Cost:     $50 per person

Course will run each Wednesday evening until 4 July, 2012.
Please bring comfortable clothing, a towel, water bottle, pen and reading glasses (if needed)

First Aid Course:

Date:    Wednesday 27 June, 2012 and Wednesday 4 July, 2012
Time:    6.00pm - 9.00pm (you must attend both sessions)
Venue:  Mangere Combined Tennis Club, House Park, Kirkbridge Ave, Mangere
Cost:     $50 per person

Community Leaders First Aid Course is for community based people who are/or would like to deliver Recreation and Sport in the Community.

After the course you will receive a nationally recognised emergency First Aid Certificate.
