Meet the Team

Gayleen Carson

Gayleen has ventured overseas for 13 years playing sports & exploring other cultures.

She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law Enforcement but her passion for sport has bought her back to her roots in Mangere where she is working in a sport arena.

One of New Zealand's best tennis players in years past Gayleen is now illustrating just how important movement is for the development of children in the region.

Mandy Wilson

I am a qualified kindergarten teacher and have worked in the early childhood sector for approx 20 years, the last three years as an Active Movement Advisor for Counties Manukau Sport. Keeping fit and active has always been one of my personal goals with my sporting interests including squash, netball and tennis.

I love working alongside parents, teachers and the wider Counties Manukau community educating them on the huge impact early movement skills have on a child’s development and therefore helping to give our preschoolers in the region the best possible start to an active healthy lifestyle.
