 Term 4 - 2009

On the 19th of October Tas Evan, GymSport NZ presented The Foundation Skills programme in a practical workshop. This took participants back to basics and chance to freshen up on the skills children need to be able to do to play all sports. Participants went away with adaptation to games and an understanding of how the body copes and learns the Foundation Skills.

THANK YOU to Tracey Richardson and Justin Barlow from TEAM solutions, who presented the last TEAM Solutions workshop on Assesment in PE. A number of teachers attended the workshop that explored the In, Through and About PE and ideas for assessment. Looking forward, there will be no more TEAM Solutions in Health and PE as of the end of this year, so once again a Thank You to the team from TEAM Solutions for your support out here in Counties Manukau.

Do you have an idea/s for a Workshop next year? Please let us know activeschools@cmsport.co.nz
