Baseball New Zealand

Baseball wants to help your school set up an interschool competition. The NZBF will supply coaching expertise and some of the necessary equipment to run an interschool competition. The school needs to supply a coordinator to schedule a time for an expert coach to visit the school and a teacher or parent to act as the team's coach. 

The program lasts 4-5 weeks with the interschool competition

taking place during the last week.

Surf Life Saving Northern Region

Surf Life Saving Northern Region offer 2 programmes in the schools setting. Surf to School is a school based programme that focuses on delivering surf safety messages to students. Surf Lifeguard Instructors bring the Surf to School Trailer into the school grounds and they deliver fun filled sessions from 45 to 90 minutes. BeachEd is a unique practical and theoretical programme at the beach! BeachEd is for Year 0-8 students and provides learning opportunities for students to develop the knowledge and skills to become active, safe and capable in a beach environment.
