CMSPORT Volunteer Recognition Awards

Behind every sporting hero are numerous volunteers who manage the machinery of sport, and get it just right to nurture the stars of tomorrow. Counties Manukau Sport is once again recognising the very special people who give their time and energy to sport in Counties Manukau.

Counties Manukau Sport are pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the annual Volunteer Recognition Awards. These awards are the acknowledgement of hard working volunteers within schools, clubs and organisations who go above and beyond in their efforts. This person could be a coach, a team or club manager, official, administrator or anyone who regularly volunteers their time.

Clubs, schools and organisations are asked to nominate two of their superstar volunteers to attend an evening ceremony in Manukau, Papakura or Franklin. Each ceremony will have a guest speaker who will thank the volunteers for their time and inspire them with their stories of volunteering. The recipients will receive an invitation to the ceremony, a certificate, a bag full of gifts and recognition of their contributions to sport.
