These awards recognise the outstanding talent within these communities and we hope this celebration for our future sports stars encourages more people to participate in sport.

N.B. Anyone can nominate a person who meets the following criteria:

U19 Sportsman of the Year

To be nominated this individual would have shown an outstanding achievement in their sport during the qualifying period 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2016 and is under the age of 19 over this period.

U19 Sportswoman of the Year

To be nominated this individual would have shown an outstanding achievement in their sport during the qualifying period 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2016 and is under the age of 19 over this period.

U16 Sportsman of the Year

To be nominated this individual would have shown an outstanding achievement in their sport during the qualifying period 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2016 and is under the age of 16 over this period.

U16 Sportswoman of the Year

To be nominated this individual would have shown an outstanding achievement in their sport during the qualifying period 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2016 and is under the age of 16 over this period.

U13 Sportsman of the Year

To be nominated this individual would have shown an outstanding achievement in their sport during the qualifying period 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2016 and is under the age of 13 over this period.

U13 Sportswoman of the Year

To be nominated this individual would have shown an outstanding achievement in their sport during the qualifying period 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2016 and is under the age of 13 over this period.

 Team of the Year

To be nominated as Team of the Year this team would have demonstrated outstanding achievement and have exceeded the school or club expectations in their performance relating to club or school competition. All members of this team also need to be under the age of 19 from 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2016

Junior Coach of the Year

To be nominated as Junior Coach of the Year the individual would have been an outstanding Coach within their sport over the year period 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2016. This individual also needs to be under the age of 19 over this period. 

Junior Official/ Administrator of the Year (Includes Referee / Umpire)

To be nominated as junior administrator of the year the individual would have shown outstanding administration duties for their sport throughout the year 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2016. This individual also needs to be under the age of 19 over this period. 

Junior Manager of the Year

To be nominated as the junior manager of the year the individual would have shown outstanding management for their sport throughout the year 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2016. This individual also needs to be under the age of 19 over this period. 

 

Details of their outstanding performances throughout this period including school/club, regional and national achievements.
