Sport Access

The Halberg Trust SportAccess Objective is:

To develop and increase accessible sports clubs and facilities that provide sustainable inclusive sport and active leisure opportunities for disabled people.

In collaboration with the Halberg Trust Sport Opportunity Adviser, representatives from the club or facility complete the Halberg Trust SportAccess Self Review to determine where the club or facility is currently at, identify any gaps, and provide for these gaps with the development and implementation of a Disability Action Plan.

The Halberg Trust SportAccess will reward inclusive clubs and facilities that:

A) Have a long term commitment to promoting inclusion of disabled people
B) Complete a self review using Halberg Trust SportAccess
C) Develop and Implement a Disability Action Plan
by providing a Halberg Trust SportAccess Award - Gold, Silver or Bronze.

The club or facility is encouraged to progress through the levels with the vision of achieving a Halberg Trust SportAccess Award - Gold to proudly display at their club or facility
