Primary Sport & Education Team Leader - Sheryl Law
A long time Manukau resident, Sheryl brings a teaching background and a passion for sport to Counties Manukau Sport.
“Working with the Education Team is a great opportunity to combine education and sport, to develop the potential of the young people in our Counties Manukau area by providing more opportunities to develop skills, participate and enjoy healthy lifestyles.”
With experience in sports coaching and club administration, Sheryl has recently combined her Education Team Leader role with a Community Sport Advisor role supporting targeted sports codes across the region.

Primary Sport Advisor for Papakura - Adam Chwesik
Born in Auckland and for the last 10 years a Papakura resident.
Enjoys all sports including touch, rugby and golf but Softball is number one having played and recently coached at an elite level for many years.
Has a real passion for sport and youth having previously worked as a coach through Primary Sport and as a Youthworker.
Looking forward to unleashing some of the talent and providing opportunities in and around the Papakura area.

Primary Sport Advisor for Mangere/Otahuhu - Jesse Williams
Born in Canada, of Pacific descent and being brought up in South Auckland, Jesse has a multi-cultural background.
Is finishing the last of his Bachelor at AUT this year, majoring in Exercise Science, and Physical Activity and Nutrition. Keen to give all forms of sport and recreation a go, but has a history in playing primarily basketball, touch and rugby.
Passionate about sport, and has worked with youth over the past 5 years through coaching, youth work and music.
With primary sports coaching experience, Jesse is eager to empower the areas of Mangere and Otahuhu to help its young people fulfil their potential, and make healthy lifestyle changes.

Primary Sport Advisor for Mangere/Otahuhu - Cori Maroroa
Born and raised in the Counties Manukau area, with a multi-cultural background of Maori (Ngati Porou), Cook Island and Pakeha background.
Spent time studying in both Rotorua and Invercargill. Where she played both representative basketball as a youth and gained her level 5 diploma in Sport and exercise science.
Loves sport and how it can be fun but a powerful and effective medium for the growth and development of our youth today, was a PRIM20 coach for two years and continues to volunteer as a coach within our community.
Excited for the young people of Manurewa and being able inspire and provide multiple sporting opportunities
