ENTRY LEVEL SPORT COACHES

BEGINNER/ENTRY LEVEL SPORT COACHES REQUIRED

Counties Manukau Sport is the leading regional sports trust across NZ in the direct delivery of sporting opportunities to school and pre-school aged children, through early childhood centres, kura, primary and intermediate schools.

With various funding contracts in place until 2025, we are seeking those who wish to be involved in the opportunity of presenting various sports to our rangitahi and tamariki.

There are placements available for permanent part time/casual and temporary staff to work throughout the Counties Manukau region across a wide range of sporting skills including learn to ride bikes and fundamental skills across traditional sports in both summer and winter codes.

Hours are designed to be flexible from 30 hours per week, 20 hours per week or regular “one off” placements (9am -3pm*) great for returning back to work-force or filling a couple hours of your day.

These roles are ideal for part time students to “earn while you learn” or for those looking to re-enter the workforce that enables a balanced life to remain.Some of the programs will be delivered in te reo so applicants who can fulfil that obligation will be able to start immediately.

Pre-requisites to applying will be for applicants who can demonstrate a willingness and passion for working with young people, a can-do attitude and a good sense of humour.

FULL TRAINING PROVIDED

Previous experience in working in education settings would be welcomed.
