Earlier this year, CM Sport signed a new 4 year contract, through to June 2023, with Oranga Tamariki to provide free school holiday programs for children aged 11-17 years, across the southern sector Local Boards, excluding Howick. The programs are designed to be run out of registered sports clubs that are either affiliated to Regional Sporting Organisations (RSO’s) or affiliated to National Sporting Organisations (NSO’s)
The purpose of this communique is to invite expressions of interest (EOI) from those clubs or sporting organisations that meet the above criteria, if you wish to be considered as a provider and listed as such on our program providers list of accredited organisations.
Service requirements are based on your organisation providing a minimum of 4 hours per day and payment is based on the number of placements you provide each day over a holiday period. Payments are rated at $20, excl GST, where applicable, per placement.
Eg 20 children per day for 5 days = $2000.
A providers meeting is scheduled for 5pm 18 September at CM Sport offices at 190 Weymouth Road, Manurewa.
Providers MUST have a qualified Frist Aid trained person on site throughout each day and any support staff must be able to pass a Police vetting process.
Providers have the opportunity of choosing to run a program in some holidays and not in others and that detail is agreed to as part of the provider’s accreditation. For example, a summer code may wish to run a program in winter as well as, or instead, of summer due to their own club commitments throughout a normal club season.
At the end of the day, it is the providers choice as to where and when they are most comfortable in being able to provide a meaningful holiday program.
To register for the providers meeting, or for further information, please contact rickc@cmsport.co.nz in the first instance. EOI’s close on 15 September.
